Hey peeps , me again ? I’m trying to do my first print (test cube) but when I insert the usb stick into printer , there are no print files ? I even sliced and saved it on Chitubox and put that on the usb stick but still doesn’t show up on printer ?

Hi all. Does anyone have some settings for Anycubic CLEAR? Because I'm trying (on 0.05) and results are just disaster. There are half less details then on transparent green and also whatever is near build plate is "melted like". Also during printing I notice that some supports bend a bit. My current settings were exposure time 12 (I also tried 8), base 60, 0.05. With clear green I had amazing results with defaults settings from Chitubox.

ChiTuBox Feature Request Hello printers and Photonsters ,

I have an idea how to make support removal much easier and cleaner, but I don't know how to go about this idea, as it requires software implementation in the slicer.
Since the implementation of anti-aliasing (AA) in ChiTuBox, it is possible to dim individual pixels. Instead of on or off, they can also have a value in between. I have thought of a method to make use of this functionality to create easier and cleaner to remove supports, that do not leave dents in the prints or other marks.

My idea:
Dim the pixels at the interface of model and supports! This would create a weak spot where supports and model meet and cause the supports to break off cleanly at the models surface. The only downside would be that support density or thickness would need to be increased some amount to maintain the supports function, but that shouldn't really be a problem and be well worth it. I am certain that this would work, but I do not know how to get this implemented in the software. I have no programming skills, the people at ChiTuBox are difficult to get a hold of and I don't know what other software would allow for this.
I believe ChiTuBox wants to enable plug-ins, so maybe that could be a place to start.
Does someone here maybe know how this could be achieved?

Thank you all for reading this and for your help 翻譯年糕

Why am I seeing so many people getting injured from resin touching their skin? I get it on my skin every day and have never been burned or injured by it ...

Temperature question

I see the importance of printing temperature.
However, it's unclear (and confusing) that some people mention machine temperature, some talk about ambient temperature, others (and manufacturers too) talk about resin temperature.

These are three very different things.
E.g. my workshop is kept at 20 degrees celsius.
When running print jobs continuously, my machine gets up to about 25 degrees celsius, while the resin settles at about 30 degrees celsius.

My gut feeling tells that for polymerization, the resin temperature is what really counts. But then why are lots of people talking about ambient temp?

So ive got my photon second hand. The guy who previously owned this thing was printing with a more ore less opaque looking FEP. Changet it to a new one, sanded down the bed. No more adhesion problems! :D

I was installing this canister when I saw carbon foam filter below the fan.
Q: If I put another activated carbon foam filter inside the canister, will the fan still operate well?
I'm still waiting for the foam filter so I cannot try yet.

After so many failed prints due to the build plate shifting and not levelling I bought an EZ Leveller from eBay. This helped immensely but as it was printed, broke down pretty quick (think I overtightened it!) Bought a metal EZ Leveller from fepshop.com it came in 3 days and is absolutely spot on. Last 4 prints have been perfect and I haven’t had to re-level yet. If your having levelling issues, I would highly recommend it.
