So, I have an interesting issue. I noticed my arm is hitting up against the vat on the down stroke all of a sudden. Now, when I level the plate, its not even remotely touching, but when I start the print, it starts hitting the vat. Now, even when it moves up, you can see the entire arm assembly flex up and down when its moving up and down off of the bed, which in some cases is causing failed prints as parts are just being pushed off of the supports in essence. Now, I assume this is slop in the Z, which can be adjusted as per the Anycubic video, just wanted to see other opinions before I go and tear the thing apart.

Greetings fellas, is there an easy way to fix these normals?

Update: this model is afflicted with an ancient Inca Curse. Fixed the normals with nettfab but lost 4 prints with various angles and sizes. The only thing saved was a pilot helmet down in the comments

Hi all, I'm a little unsure of a problem I'm having with prints coming out lopsided (think leaning Tower of Piza) and with slight layer shift.

I follow the original Anycubic bed levelling procedure (with the piece of paper) shown here.

However, once I've got good resistance on the piece of paper and tighten the grub screw, once I raise the build plate, the build plate can wobble both on the x/y axes and the z axis. Is that correct, or should it be rigidly flat and unable to move?

Just wondering if a wobbly build plate is causing my print issues?

Would anyone be willing to post links to products you use to help fill gaps in larger pieces?

Thank you!

Is there any way to reload the .photon files for information ie. scale and orientation?

I need to reprint a part that I made several months ago due to it breaking and I can’t remember what scale and orientation I used for the life of me.

Hey team. Photon S user here. My machines been working fine for the past 2 months with just user errors thus far. Turned off my machine for 2 weeks and turned it back on. First print failed and I assumed it was my fault. Tried again and it worked. Now on my 5th failed attempt at printing and I finally did some troubleshooting. Do the screen test and got a screen full of lines! (First photo) Turn it off. Turned it back on. Get mostly normal with a few faint lines. (Second photo)Turn it off and back on and keep getting the screen with faint lines. Has my screen gone bad? I haven’t done the update because I like Chitubox. But am thinking about doing it to try and fix the issue. Comments, suggestions, and help all welcome. Thanks team! Uneven illumination is due to angle of pic. It’s the lines that’s the problem.

Queen sheet set from Walmart comes in this nice heavy fabric bag, which happens to fit perfectly over the photon.
