So I mainly bought my photon for my warhammer armies, and character busts. Wanted to make unique models for a little more flavor, as well as more projects to paint.
Well I realized I'm getting a pretty big backlog of painting projects.
So when I woke up this morning I decided its time to start working on stuff.
Around 3 hours in on this print, available on thingiverse.com , still some work to do but so far I think it's coming together nicely.

Also wondering what the reasons are that others purchased their photon ?

Lessons learned on the road to printing a large figure. This may be interesting to other newcomers to resin printing as well, so I also included the screengrabs form Chitubox.

1.) Tried printing the head straight up instead of upside down. But there are so many strands of hair so it's difficult to support. To avoid damage I only used very light supports. As it seems, not enough supports. Many of the hair strands failed printing. Fortunately nothing got stuck to the fep. This is the second time I printed this head. To be honest, I'm at a loss as to which orientation I should use.

2.) The rest of the parts went quite well. but there's suction at the arm area. Again, I probably used too light supports.Maybe I'm fortunate that part still turned out the way it did.

I still have some long printing times coming up with the base and cape to print.

Well the day finally arrived. My resin got delivered and i could start printing. I went brave and didnt even try printing the test cube out, i went for my own design from fusion. glad i did now, it turned out great, just as i wanted it too. This printer is pretty cool to say the least. More printing will commence tomorrow morning. Settings used for the green from the github file settings

Is it possible to have a flat print bed but a warped lcd/protector?

When leveling the bed using the paper pull/push method, I find it impossible to get the same bed-paper-lcd friction on all corners. Always the left lower and right upper corner have lowest friction. So today I releveled and turned my 180 degrees. Still same result! To me, this rules out a warped print bed.

Anyone with the same problem and maybe a solution?

I have a very good advice:
Wear protection glasses, this morning while cleaning a part I forgot to wear them and a drop of Alcohol/resin flew to my eye.
I washed my eye with water and learned from this mistake: Wear your F@($# glasses.
It look likes I have no problem but we will see in few hours.

As I understood it, Z wobble is apparent when these lines are parallel to the build plate, or horizontal. But this model was printed at 23 degrees to the build plate at 0.02mm layer height. It looks like z wobble. Thoughts?
