So I'm sitting here trying to free plug-in a new LCD screen 2 my photon, it went like a breeze. But now when I do the the test sequence the whole Square lights up no rectangle I tried taking it off and on again, that didn't work. Could it be the LCD screen, should I get back in touch with the seller, or is there something I'm not seeing on installing a new LCD screen

If my Photon is sitting RIGHT by a window, will I have issues with the resin? I installed the handle vent mod, so I want it near the window so I can vent the fumes.

I was told the glass DOESN’T protect from UV rays, and I don’t want to have any issues...

Part of me is thinking about replacing the top glass (and maybe the sides) so I can stop some of the light from getting in...

Looking at picking up some Monocure rapid resin. How does the clear compare to the opaque resins. I've seen some posts on Reddit singing praises about Monocure rapid clear, wondering how much different eg black would be.

Anyone had this happen to their Photon? I just got this printer yesterday and it appears the sticker wasn't adhered to the unit properly when packing and ended up getting packed with the sticker folded over. I've tried glue, sticky tack and masking tape and nothing will hold it in place. Either the top will come unstuck or the bottom. One or the other. I know it's only a sticker but it also appears to protect the front lcd. Anyone have any good glue suggestions?

Slightly unrelated question.. but, I'm looking at setting up an Ender 3 pro next to my Photon S, just wondering does the Ender 3 shake the table a lot while its printing? Enought that it could disturb the photon S while that is printing?

Tested out the Anycubic Eco resin on a sculpt I did for a client and the result turned out better than I expected at 0.05 layer. I used the photon file validator that I saw recently on 3DPrintFarm's YouTube video and I have to say it's a life saver. I've been using Prusa slicer to build my automatic supports, then run it through that software and finally add light supports in chitubox on every island it shows me unsupported. By the end I still get warnings (ranging from 10 to 30 and between 1 to 5 pixels), which I end up not considering.

I definitely want to reduce failed prints and with the eco resin (which is so much better than the elegoo black I was using) plus the combo of Prusa slicer+chitubox+photon file validator (and loads of hours of patience) I feel I'm on the right track.

Hello chaps! And before you tell me to search I already did a few places and have watched videos and still am not sure why I am getting these fails.

The first one should have 4 Kobold Minis and only has two.

The second printed only the top half of the guard?? Doesn’t make sense to me. I feel it’s a leveling or z=0 setting problem but I have tried that a few times. And could use some suggestions! TIA guys!

Also this is my first resin printer and I have only had my Ender-3 for about 2-3 months. Super newb!
