Just noticed for some reason my base for supports are quite thick about 3.1mm is this normal? Feel like I'm loosing quite alot of resin each print.

I had the vat spill in to the back of the printer because my printer fell backwards due to the weight of the open door. It was a hell of a clean up and unfortunately the homing sensor is not doing its job anymore and the plate won’t move when I press home. Anyone got a solution? Sensor replacement or some way to work around it? Thank you.

Is there a way to calibrate the printer to get it to the Wright size.
I am trying to print some think with a 4mm hole and it's coming out at 3.5mm. If I give it a small time for exposure will that work?

Test cube print went perfectly (2nd attempt). I was going try to print a miniature but my computer will not read the USB thumb drive that came with the photon, any ideas?

I know there are mixed opinions on the easy z=0. I have no troubles leveling, or setting my z=0, but I’m curious if the mod would make it so I could put more resin in the vat.
Normally you have to keep the resin level fairly low so it doesn’t go into the ball joint, but does that problem exist with the easy z=0, or does it act more similarly to the epax, where you don’t have too much resin unless your vat overflows?
I know you can always add resin mid print, but sometimes I start a print and then leave the house or forget all about it

I just found this handy little mod. It was only posted a couple of weeks ago on Thingiverse. Cracking idea.

So, I've seen plenty of discussion on resin safety, and printing resin does sometimes come across as super toxic and hazardous.

Safety first, obviously, and protective gear is a must. Just wondering if printing resin is any more hazardous than typical solvents and other toxic substances you might come into contact with in, say, home renovation and other DIY work? If someone is used to handling and disposing of stuff like that, is there a reason similar safety procedures (avoid spills and skin contact, deal with spills immediately etc) wouldn't be sufficient with resin? Or is resin just like any other "regular" hazardous material?

Especially interested in hearing professional views, I'm sure there's a fair few specialists (chemists, doctors, plastics industry professionals) in the group :)

After seeing Arel Armour post about the build plate block hitting the vat. I checked mine too and after leveling with paper mine hits too, so much so it pushes the z screw backwards, please see pic for clarification.

First this was straight out of the box and second I have not touched the vat, i can confirm no screws or the plate that holds the fep in place is sticking out, everything looks flush.

Has anyone else noticed this surly its damaging the Z rail. Seems to me the vat is a few mm higher then it should be or the build plate block is to long.
