What the Textures on my 20days LCD ?

- glass between uv light and lcd no dirty

- surface of screen LCD no dirty

- under side of LCD no dirty

- 20 days on hand LCD

- Bought from ANYCUBIC Global Store on Ali express

Made 3 prints with same resin and settings. Cleaned with different cleaners and then rinsed with water before putting them out in the sun for curing. From left to right: Tek1969, Denaturated (?) Methanol and IPA. No big difference between the alcohols, slightly "clouded" surface. Tek1969 gave a clear surface.
*EDIT* Denatured Ethanol, not Denaturated Methanol...

Is there anything special I need to do in Chitubox 1.5 to switch from OG Photon slicing to Photon S slicing?

I already created an additional profile for the Photon S, but I could swear I saw people having issues here and they needed to... do something with mirroring, or something like that.

Helloo ?

It's been a while since the last time I used my printer. March to be exactly ? but after a quick dust of, some IPA cleaning and filtering the resin (that was still in the VAT) it printed without a problem ?? ??

I know, shitty picture.. but was in hurry yesterday and quickly shot this one ?

Since I've started printing again, I've got a few questions.

1. Is it worth upgrading the firmware? Because of the AA and stuff like that.

2. How is the dual Z-rail upgrade? Not running into problems like Z-wobble, so I don't know if it's worth it for me..

All other tips and tricks are also welcome ?

I’ve ran into this weird issue with a couple of longer prints. I’ve made sure everything is leveled, got the vat and the build plate tightened down, but during the print I get this weird shift (circled in blue in the photo). The first time this happened I noticed the knob holding the build plate seemed a little loose, so I thought I must have not tightened it down completely. I printed the same file again, no obvious problems. Ran it again and I noticed the shift you see in the photo and that the knob on the build plate was loose when I pulled the build plate off the machine. I went back to look at the previous print I thought was flawless and I found a very subtle shift at about the same layer. Has anyone else ran into an issue of their build plate knob loosening during the course of printing? Or have I diagnosed my issue incorrectly and it’s something else?

I haven’t gone to check on if my print finished or not, but I have questions. I see a lot of prints where there’s a base/raft, then supports them the object. Is there a reason to print the supports that way? Do they come off fairly easily?

I am looking for tips on how to protect resin prints from the environment, like hot cold wet etc, how much punishment can the 'stock' anycubic resins take or what can you do to protect them (like varnishes, paints etc).

Any ideas ?
