Can interrupting the print cause the model to unstick? I'm having problems with my printer and the test model unsticking when the base has been made, but it might be to do with me checking the printer by pausing too early? Gimme suggestions, please guys ^_^

Hello! I tried to update the firmware with the latest EPAX firmware and it seems to work since the version is updated, but all the menu and look are the same. I'm wondering if anybody was able to have to network configuration screen on the photon?

Hello! I am new to 3d printing and got my photon to pri t dnd minis. I am having an issue with the layers on the horizontal pieces of the print. Does anyone know what might cause this? I didnt see a previous question in my search of the group. Do I need more supports? Is it a splicing issue? Any help would be appreciated.

I forgot to take a picture before throwing them away, but, last 3 prints were incredibly flexible and alot of the support just did'nt print correctly or broke off leaving a flat shoulder situation. I dont usually have this problem and I've been printing with the batch of resin for a bit and didnt get an issue until now. I'm pretty sure its because its the end of the bottle, I've been stirring before refilling and I've been stiring the inside of the vat before every print like I always do, but I got that issue anyway. Now my question is, would upping the exposure by like 2-3 seconds per layer help in this situation? Or is the rest of my resin batch useless?

I’ve been getting a lot of great prints, literally no issues or failed prints at 0.03 or higher, but i get this issue on half my prints when i do 0.01. Any ideas why?

Okay so here's a thing. First off I knew the supports would be an issue as the auto-generation option was frankly massive overkill and along with ruining the detail on the underside (I expect it struggled to put the layers down properly between the supports) its painfully obvious that there were just too many of them. So my questions!

1) For a model like this, if I'm doing it in one piece am I better off doing it completely vertically with a few supports so I don't have more than a couple to remove?

2) The 3D model had a decent amount of detail on it that hasn't translated across. Specifically, parts of the top look flattened and without much detail.

I printed at .2 rather than the default .5, used 8 60s base layer cures and a 10s normal cure. The 3d model itself looked like it should be fine (I've seen people print things equally fine) but it feels like something went wrong.

I may have started a bit too ambitious give my experience level, but I'm learning pretty well so far I hope

I got 2 questions for you today ;)

1: I suspect this is a sign of Z-Wobble? Got the printer for a couple of weeks, but now there are lines on the prints.

2: Since i cant get anycubic resin in my country, i bought monocure rapid grey. First problem, the exposure finder showed i need to 12s exposure time, while the anycubic grey was perfect on 10s! and the monocure is only grey at the beginning. after the print, it turned out greenish. And the quality is, sorry, shit! If you compare the two prints (left anycubic grey, right monocure rapid grey) the details are washed out and the overall finish looks cheaper and less crisp. did anybody else had same results? and yes, i did shake the bottle.

I'll try other resins :-/

Good morning everyone (or goodnight, depends on where you live^^)

I heard, that the only downside of the Photon S is the mainboard and software used. Has anyone tried to put the original Photon mainboard inside it? For the stepper it should matter and doesn´t it use the same screen as the Photon?
