What causes these random lines? Sometimes they happen, sometimes they don’t. This was printed vertically. Each of those lines would have been in perfect alignment with the previous Voxel.

Recently got my printer, and now I am venturing into Chitubox.

Mostly printing miniatures, both 15mm and 28mm. What sort of settings should use?

Settings
I copied the settings from a succesful print using the Anycubic slicer, but don´t really know what I am doing.

Infill %
I also see that there is a setting for infill. Is it possible to set the infill rate on resin in Chitubox?

Hey guys, is there more chance of distortion with too much support structure or too little? what sort of % should you add support? so for example, a 2 pence piece, would you do 25% of the surface area or more/less?

Any idea? The top (facing the vat) looks great while the bottom, where lots of supports were looks like a wobbly crap. I get the feeling that everywhere a support touches the model, there is an extruding bump surrounding the touchpoint

I'm looking to find a location for my new Photon so it is close enough to a window to run ducting hose for ventilation. I'm considering using a drawer trolley like the one pictured.

Pros:
- Can move to best position for ventilation whilst in use
- It will have an empty plastic tray beneath it in case of resin leaks
- Can wheel it outside to my balcony to remove the model to avoid resin drips inside

Cons:
No matter how much I've tightened it it's still got some horizontal wobble due to the wheel slots.

Questions:
Do I need a perfectly stable surface for the Photon? As the Photon only moves along the z-axis will this be an issue?

How bad do you let your FEP get before replacing it? Mine is slightly cloudy from cleaning it with iso alcohol after a failed print but I don't know if it needs replacing or not. Photos would be good so I have something to compare it against. Cheers everyone!

Just posted files for a 3d Printed curing chamber for the anycubic photon. You'll need an FDM printer to print it off, but I'm told that if you don't have an FDM printer you can usually barter prints from your photon in exchange for printing something like this off.
