Just discovered the photon resin calibration test doesnt work with the photon-s. None of the files show up on the usb. Anyone know of a workaround to get it to work on the s model?

Or am I stuck until the package is rebuilt for photon-s?

Hi everyone, I just got my Photon a few days ago and I’ve only had intermittent success. I basically bought this printer exclusively for D&D miniatures, and I usually put three miniatures into Chitubox before I slice. I have, basically every time, had at least one of the miniatures not sticking to the build plate. Or sometimes, it initially sticks and I find out later that it fell off about a third of the way through (a very partially finished print will be in the vat)

Sometimes it’s the right side, sometimes left side, and most recently, the center miniature fell off. Brand new FEP, machine, everything. I’ve leveled with the flint read method, I’ve used the method Nick Williams posted, I feel like I’ve tried everything. This is getting truly frustrating.

Is there anything I may have missed?

All prints had been fine up until these. No change in setting. No change in leveling or resin. Everything the same.

FEP tension at 314 Hz

One side lifted and deformed those prints.

What happened?

Regarding Monocure Pigment Dye, I was watching a YouTube vid from Monocure about how to use their dyes and noticed at the end they scroll a list of color “recipes” in the background. I understand how the mixing of CMYK can result in all sorts of colors, I just don’t understand the percentages listed in this picture. Some of them add up to well over 100%, so what the hell percentage are they of? Number of squirrels in a tree? Number of biscuits I like with my breakfast?

I've read already quite a lot of posts here, but I would love to gather some sum up for beginners and made a few questions:

1. Any tricks and tips for beginners - what should I do / know and how to prevent and avoid beginner fails.

2. Maintenance tips and (precautionary also)

3. Useful softwares / tutorials? File format converting?

4. Cheap and good quality resins, also castable ones (or does the non-castable work for jewellery casting too / invest casting)? How about the shrinkage?

5. Settings / tables etc for different resins?

6. Afterwork tips for models (polishing, chemical dips etc).

7. Safety
