Any suggestions on dealing with resin odors? I started from day 1 with an exhaust fan and a carbon filter but this doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I still get some strong odors in the room some of the time. I set it up this way to avoid odors going into the kids bedrooms directly above.

After a week of printing non-stop I noticed some strong resin odors in the room but hadn't noticed any upstairs. Yesterday I went to the spare bedroom, also above the print room and was nearly knocked over with the smell in there. Unlike the other rooms the spare is closed up and only used a couple times a year. It was really bad in there.

So what other steps can I take. Even if I vented out the one nearby window that would place it right under my sons air conditioner.

Hello all. New member, first time post. I'm already amazed at how friendly and helpful this forum is having read through a number of posts.

I purchased an Anycubic Photon S printer and, following the basic instructions found within the manual, I managed to print this ring model I made in ZBrush at the weekend (see attached image).

I printed the 'cube' model without anybissues at all however, as you'll notice, I've lost a ton of details in the ring print compared to the ZBrush model (see attached image).

I'm really looking for any advice you may kindly have for me to improve the quality of my prints. I plan to use this printer to prototype rings like this before sending the stl. files to be cast in silver.

Any help you wise wizards of 3d printing have for me would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance everybody. ? ?

Need some help. Just got the printer set up last night. Transfered the files from the basic USB it came with to a good one. The Photon does not like the good USB. I get an error. So I used the one the printer came with and woke up this morning to absolutely nothing stuck or built. It was at 97% this morning and doing the motions still, but nothing was there on the test print. I'm pretty sure it's due to the crappy USB. But what can I do if it throws an error everytime I use a good one.

It's formatted for MAC OS. Does that make a difference? Any ideas? TIA

Hi folks. Made my first print yesterday, tried to cure it in the late afternoon sunlight. Not sure it got enough UV, the part is still tacky this morning. Does it need more light, or did I not clean it well enough?
