Hey all, I've been using the AnyCubic resin but I'm looking to try out some new brands (especially if any are on sale on Amazon) Any suggestions? Focused more on quality of miniature and sturdiness (finding the AnyCubic resin as still being kind of fragile even after thorough curing ie. gouges from removing supports)

Can I recycle my old resin bottles or is that toxic for recycling centers if they’ve been rinsed with IPA?

Growing Pains...

Thanks to all the good tips form this group, I tuned my photon and finally got my first successful print.

Things I've learned:

- The thickness of the sheet of paper you use to get your Z=0 should match the thickness of the FEP.

- Turn the machine off between prints. After failure #4 I did a UV test and found the pattern was only showing half way. Restarted the printer, all good.

Is there something specific needed for a USB stick? A specific size maybe? or USB version (1.0, 2.0, 3.0?)
I've tried multiple memory sticks and they all give me the M_101000 error.
In fact the only one that works is the one that came with the printer.

Chitubox won’t let me place supports in questionable areas. (Ones that might go through the model)

I have a question,

I had a print issue the other day on my Photon, and someone recommended upgrading to the newest Firmware.

I'm always leary of upgrading in the event that all of my settings would need changed or I F' something up and it bricks my printer...

is there anyone with a good amount of knowledge that could tell me, Should I upgrade my firmware?

I still ahve the original firmware shipped with the printer about a year ago.

IF SO? how do you upgrade firmware?

P.S.

YES, I have searched the group, but I'm finding answers saying one thing,, then other answers saying another, and nothing specific to what I'm wondering.

I don't ask questions often, so I'll say in advance,, YES I know how google works, and I know how to search a forum, I'm asking because I didn't find the answer.
