Hello to all.

Someone tried to print photopolymer Harz Labs model black?

I can not find information on the time of exposure at a layer of 0.2 mm.

Now I use 9-13 seconds, but it seems to me that the time of illumination should be further reduced.

I have a printer photon s

Maybe someone has already found the optimal exposure time?

On the attached photo, the left details were exposed for 13 seconds, on the right details the exposure time was reduced to 7 seconds.

How difficult is it to go from .04 to .03 or .02?

As in is it just math, because I don't get failed prints at my current setting, or do I need to do that resin test again?

I honestly don't know how to use the more fine settings on the resin test.

Another problem free print success... for all you noobs out there, see it's not all doom and gloom and failed prints. I've been printing for over a year and the only failures I get are user error.

I am placing an order today for filament for my 3 FDM printers and I want to order a couple liters of resin for my Photon. I am brand new to resin printing so right now I just have the green that came with my Photon. I am printing miniatures for tabletop gaming so is there a brand or color that is better suited or should I just order more of the Anycubic Green?

I see a lot of people printing grey for their miniatures, is there a specific reason why? Strength, smell, base color?

What could be causing this? The section of model in the middle is still tacky. Doesn't appear to cure under UV. Resin is Ameralabs coal black. It has happened on a few prints, but not all of them.

First time trying this. Is 7 the right number here, giving me a 14 sec exposure?
No matter the layer thickness?

Dear good people, since I bought the printer I have been having these ripple defects in the first layers of every print. I calibrated the printer multiple times and I even adjusted the bearings of the Z axis. However the problem is still there. Can someone help me solve this issue. Thanks :)

Super excited to join the group! I ordered my LCD Photon today, plus I got Simon Jackson's Z axis rail system to install with the machine. Quick question, I was doing some research on the anti-aliasing firmware upgrade, is that coming standard on new machines these days or does anyone know if I'll have to download and install that?

Last night I tried out the # Harzlabs Dental Cast. Perfect result as always with their resins! Amazing!

This one does have a little smell compared to their other non-castable resins, but still enormously better than most other (cheaper) resins. And still you cant smell it with an open container of IPA in the room.

This is however the first resin from Harzlabs that I actually bothered to activate the carbon filter fan for (meaning I couldn't smell it after all which I've gotten used to with the harzlabs resins ? ? )
