Hello fellow photon owners,

So this is my first print using the photon and I am testing with the lattice test file but I keep getting either memory error m1000 or m11800 asking me to replug my usb.

I have tried to print 4 times now. Should I pack it up with hopes to exchange?

Getting these fairly severe layer shift lines. Any suggestions? Upgraded my Z axis and have an aluminium EZ level so not sure why it's happening.

Hello everyone! I printed out my first two minis last night and they came out great. I took them out and immediately started another print. I have the printer plugged into a six way surge protector and I went to plug in my homemade curing station and the printer shut off.. I turned it back on and scrapped the print off the build plate then started the print again for over night. I guess some resin was stuck to the fep and caused the entire print to fail over night and this morning I had huge build up on the fep. I took the plastic scrapper that came with the photon and gently scrapped at it until it popped free. I ran the scrap all along the bottom of Vat to feel out any more spots.. I thought it felt fine and the resin looked fine. So I started another print. Failed.. I tried again, Failed.. It will not print anything from the center and right of the build plate. I have three models on there right now and it is printing only one of three models correctly(The left one). Should I allow it to continue to print the one correct model or stop it to prevent wasted resin on the other two? Or because of the build up its not actually wasting anymore resin to to the resin stuck there?

Also what should I do to get it printing normally again?

I'm at a loss. Any suggestions will help.

Hey guys, supposing someone already tried this: if I want to print with the Photon where there’s no power outlet and use a no-break instead - would it be possible given the machine’s consumption rate, and what capacity should the no-break be, to hold for up to 8 hours of printing time?

In reading the msds for anycubic resin it appears that it has "transient organ effects" being classified as H335 cat 3. I have my printer in the basement but recently used anycubic black which i could smell upstairs. Knowing the classification of the material, how worried should I be if i have a 1 1/2 year old. She isnt reacting to the smell i.e. coughing, throat irritation etc which would be indicative of a reaction to the resin given its msds class. In addition the effects are classified as transient and not causing long term damage.
i know this may be a hot button topic but I was wondering what others thoughts are empirically on the toxicity of the resin vs it just being an annoying smell
