Using auto support placement I’m chitubox. Seems excessive. What are people’s thoughts. Any way I can optimize settings?

Hello, so I bought a photon and ran the test print. worked great. truly impressed by what resin can do. moved the device to a place that won't be hurt by smelling like resin.

Now I upgraded to the latest beta firmware to try the AA. upgrade went fine no issues other than the stock USB not working for firmware upgrades.

Now the problem I am having is that the UV test won't show anything anymore AND my Z axis is stupid slow. it kinda moves but like it could maybe take a hour to get to Z0. I tried reflashing the most current non-beta version but that changes nothing.

does anybody have any idea what I could do or is this return back to amazon from a blown stepper motor or board.

Since people are posting workspaces, I haven't seen one that is fully self-contained yet.

Is it possible for a room to be too cool to print in? 65% of my stuff fails and I’ve tried so many different things. I’ve replaced the FEP, re z’d it with the flint Reid method after the paper one wasn’t working, I switched to elegoo grey, added way more/ thicker supports than probably necessary, oriented my models at 45 degrees, shaken my resin, let it sit, heated the resin with a hair dryer to get out any extra bubbles and still..... nothing sticks to the build plate. It’s 75 degrees F in my house so I’m wondering if that’s affecting things. I’m worried it will be too hot if I move the printer to the garage. I’m in Arizona so it’s like 110 during the day outside right now. Seems like a bad idea. What else could I be missing?

Not perfect but workable. Some layer lines are obvious, not sure why. 0.05 mm at 8 sec.

mixing food coloring with uv sensitive resin is pretty common in crafts, but has anyone tried it for DLP printing? is this just a horrible idea?

I've leveled my photon a few times to get the optimal print and then followed a suggestion of a fellow member and it worked beautifully, except I'm still getting a layering problem. It is lopsided. One side is thin and the other is thick (see image provided). My plate is leveled so no paper can barely move freely either from the front or back, but yet the lopsidedness continues. Anyone else ever experience this and/or fixed the problem?

I'm doing some research to compare the Photon (which I love) to the Zorktrax Inkspire. For those who may have one, how do the two compare to one another?
