Any suggestions for print orientation?
Wall thickness will probs be set around. 5 or 2mm.i thought maybe the large surface area of the bottom would help it adhere to build plate well but thought I would run it by you guys first.
Thanks

Making progress but would like some advice on the last bit. I'm printing a basic railway wagon on a Photon S with Elegoo Grey. The wagon is about 30mm x 15mm x 8m tall and the sides are around 0.75mm thick. Picture 1 was done with the original Anycubic green parameters - oops. The second was with better parameters - 0.02, 12, 3, 80, 5 and 30 degrees. It still had a collapsed point and I realised I was using light supports. I changed to medium supports with the same parameters and it is much better but there are still faint lines across the wagon which do appear to align with the support attachment points. Would people change the supports further in some way or increase the exposure time further to prevent what seems to be a level of compression? I should add I used 24 supports spread evenly which is significantly fewer than the auto support from the Photon Workshop Slicer.

This machine is giving me fits. Any idea why the inner lid is fogging up like this? It was closed all day, indoors at about 75 degrees F not running, just chilling out. I think my FEP was damaged during my very first print, the test cube. I cleaned it all out, had three successful prints, then another failure and this foggy mess so I replaced the FEP and re did the level and z. Failed the first print after. Only the supports printed. Also, the only thumb drive this dude will read is the original that came with it. I bought several new ones and reformatted the latest one, a 16 Gb, with FAT32, but it will only read the cheap crappy one. All the others give an error message. This is a little frustrating. I will fix it if I can but what the heck? Why is it fogging up. The plexi glass is even cracked around a couple of screws. I haven’t even touched those. I’ve been at work, 12 hour shifts the last three days.

Considering getting this to help with cleanup after resin-printing. Thoughts?
Frustrated with some leftover spheres on my mini and it doesn't look good when I take my dremel tool to it.

As far as hollowing a figure & adding holes, at what size would this no longer be useful? Like, would DnD minis need drain holes? As far as hollowing a figure & adding holes, at what size would this no longer be useful? Like, would DnD minis need drain holes? 翻譯年糕

so, with summer heating up. What are you all doing to keep the motherboard from overheating?

Edit: perhaps I should clarify, I have mine in a room that heats up early in the day and stays very warm all day. I've already had one motherboard go bad from heat so I am looking for a way to keep the motherboard cool but not the resin. And no I can't move it to another room.

First attempt at large scale printing. Redoing the supports since the edges curled on me. Still pretty happy with the first draft though.
