Maybe a stupid question, but better safe that sorry...

Now that we have AA capability in the firmware, does that work with any slicer that does AA, like the Formware slicer, or does it require a specific slicer?

I have seen few posts already, where people suggest that popping sound during printing is a good sound. It is an indicator that your print have successfully stuck to the print bed, but other than that, it only reduces the quality of your prints.

Popping is not a good sound. When you clean your screen and fep dust free, it makes fep stick to the screen (like a protective screen for the phone). Popping comes when your fep sticks to the screen and when table is moving up, due to high pressure, print pops from the fep. Fep should gently stretch and release your print , but it can't because it lays flat on the screen with a big suction surface. This will be even more noticeable if your print covers big area, so do not forget to hollow your model ?
Due to applied force, cured resin get stretched (instead of fep) and prints are scarred with pressure lines. Attached photo as example of pressure line but they can get much bigger than this. I rarely get them and this is a biggest one I have captured. printed at 0.05. Also this high pressure increases chances of your supports and thin places to break and stay on the fep. And I guess this pressure reduces lifespan of your motors.
To get rid of this issue I sprinkle the very tiny amount of baby powder on the screen (no visible chunks should be there). It will prevent creating a vaccuum seal between fep and the screen. So, I hope, it will help and your prints will now be free from this abomination. Please, refer to this post if someone is asking about popping sound. ✌️

I printed a mini and it came out perfect but after curing and priming it, I noticed that at some point, the base wrapped. It came off straight off the bed so it happened while curing or somehow reacted with the primer. It was printed solid. Anyone knows what may have caused this issue? TIA

I'm very new to SLA printing just bought my first anycubic photon and haven't even printed out the test cube yet. I purchased it mainly for D&D miniatures and would love to print out this frost giant. I have a few questions that need some clarification before I want to even try. I have read you want to hollow larger minis? or Should I hollow all minis? I also read that I should dig a hole to drain the resin from within the hollow miniatures. Where do you put the holes and what's the best way to fill them afterwards if its in an obvious spot? I figure in the bottom of the feet and how many holes do I dig? It also shows supports inside the hollowed miniature, do I leave those? Why a 45 degree angle on small miniatures? I purchased some 405nm uv led light rope that I'm going to make a curing box. Does leaving the piece in there too long ruin detail? The alcohol bath, is there a set time to leave the printed piece in the bath? Or just a few seconds is fine? Should I slice off the hammer and turn his torso so its not riding on the edge like that? I probably have a ton more questions but can't think of any more right now. If anyone can help answer these questions I would be eternally grateful. Just trying not to waste a ton of resin right out of the gate.

What’s the better resin to use for printing garage kits/figures? I’ve started doing some and wouldn’t want to offer a product that wasn’t done with the best resin I could offer. Currently I use the Anycubic Clear and it’s been grand but curious about the grey I see some people printing with.

So had my photon for 10 months and the z leadscrew grease was black gunk.
Cleaned and also redone the bearings in the rail as seemed to have loosened a bit over time.

Anybody else do this, or is the OCD clinic going to be calling me ?
