So...I finally got my printer working and not failing (thanks to all those that helped!), now I have maybe a newb question....if my print may need more resin, what's the best practice? I know the manual stated I can just hit pause and add more...but when is the ideal time to pause? Thanks in advanced!

27" husky toolbox + butcher block top. Out the door from Home Depot for under $100. Drawer for the tools, cabinet holds the resin, cleaning station, and the curing box.

Well as far as the resin printing is going I'm getting good detail there that's the one 1:144 scale scale in white resin. The large F1 in the back is a filament print and it's not as clean and I don't even know what scale I made it I just wanted to see if I could print it in filament well enough.

So does anyone know of a slicing function that does the "elephant foot" reduction on the over exposed starting layers? Something similar to that feature in FDM software.

I have a bunch of prints that go best straight on the print bed, but I don't want to have to sand everything for all that overprint in the initial layers and manually shrinking the first layers pre-slicing might be beyond my skill set.

I normally use chitubox for supports and Photon S software to slice, but I can't see anything that will do it in either.

So I replaced the LCD panel with the new one from EPAX. Works great. But, for some reason the LCD fan on the bottom of the machine is not running. Yes. It’s plugged in.

Tested fan with 9v battery. Fan works fine. If I start a print, the fan usually kicks on to cool the LCD heat sink. Now. I start a print and the fan does not kick on.

Tried swapping out connector to fume fan since it’s 12v. Still no fan.

Hey guys, I'm playing with Anycubic Transparent Yellow resin. My supports are sticking like painfully well. Any tips of support interface settings (contact depth, shape, radius etc) that should help?

Also I've been thinking of adding about 15% monocure flex to the mix with anycubic trans yellow. Was wondering what regular layer cure times you'd suggest?

Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated.

So, I started a print this morning before work. It was only a 4 hour print, so I figured it'd be done when I get home approximately 9.5 hours later.

Get home and check on it and the print is at 35% and is just sitting there. Layers are only 12s each, so I watch it for almost 30s just to make sure.... it's still just sitting there in the vat, so I assume it's stuck.

Could it be a bad slice or is there something else going on I should be more concerned about? What had printed without failure and there were no cured particles in the vat or stuck on the FEP.

Thanks in advance for any input!
