Has anybody tried to open .photon file in Chituboxom and then save it as .photons? It would be really great to make that cure time calibration model for Photon S :-)

What does everyone use for a UV source for curing your prints. I bough a $30 UV nail lamp and its a piece of garbage. What does everyone use for a UV source for curing your prints. I bough a $30 UV nail lamp and its a piece of garbage. 翻譯年糕

I wanted to post one of my succesful prints instead of just asking for advice so i give you my lil' beholder over here. Isn't he adorable? ^_^

P.S. fully painted model coming soon, as soon as i'm done with it. you can make out the legs in the background. Cookie points if you can figure out what it is.

Couple of quick questions, I am using the monoprice orange resin, which likes to seperate out, are there any tricks to slow the separation down some?

The second question is if anyone has had experience with models, like those from rocket pig games, that allegedly don't need supports? They seem to be more focused on FLM printers, but I was wondering if the difference in printing mechanism would impact it.

Their question is if there are any ways to verify if a model base (like a TTRPG miniature) when placed to be printed directly on the plate actually sits flatly without any weird groves or gaps?

Final question, how common is it for people to want an FLM printer after getting the photon for bigger projects?

Hey everyone. Have you seen the following before?

Today i tried my first attempt at a larger model, used Chitubox to hollow it, generate supports and slice it, then hit print in my photon

A few hours later i checked in to see the partly built model had fallen into the vat. An examination of the build plate revealed that the bottom supports had torn off. Some of them had broken off at the top, others had broken halfway through.

Do you know what might have caused this and how i can avoid this in the future? I'm suspecting that maybe my supports were too thin. Would setting them thicker yield better results? Any input would be appreciated, thank you.

In case somone broke their own or lost it, I made the original Anycubic photon spatula in 3D and in 2 versions, 1 slotted and 1 simple. it's scalable and it's recomended to be printed on an FDM printer with very low layer height

Gents, for those of you who put a heater in the printer, I know what you use as Jordan Baldrige did get me that info, but where do you place it in the printer? In the rear opposite of the vent fan? What do you use to control the temperature in the printer? I know that Siraya blu prints better when warm, but do other resins have similar conditions?
