I'm having a software issue with the Photon Slicer that I hope someone knows how to fix. Keep in mind I've been printing without issue until today when I went through my normal workflow and encountered this bug.

I import my model, and then raise it up 5mm from the build surface. Then I go to support tab. If I go back to the other tab the object is now back flat on the build plate. This happens whether I add supports or not. I cannot get it raised up off the build plate. The supports will add in just fine and it will look perfect, but if I go back out of support mode the object is flat on the surface again.

For everyone asking about leaving resin in the vat or thinking you have to filter after every print- I just ran a print with resin that's been sitting in the vat since Jan 28. I gave it a quick stir and fired off a print no problem.

Having a bit of trouble. Not sure what to change. I'm printing some 28mm infantry heads. The supports are working good. But its almost like there's a blob of resin thats curing and turning the prints "chunky". Noticable around the neck areas the most. Its supposed to be a rounded neck with a support at the very bottom. I'm using the Monocure 3D Clear settings from the spreadsheet.

Any advice?

Have a bit of a problem. I can only find 70% ethyl alcohol on the military bases I have access to and since I live in Japan, Amazon won’t ship alcohol or resinaway here. Will the 70% work? If not, does anyone know what I should look for and where they might carry it? I live in Okinawa, so I’m pretty limited on resources. And since I don’t speak Japanese very well at all, I’m having trouble with even asking store employees for help. Thanks!

Is there a G-Code script to turn on the lamp with the panel wide open? I am trying to check the UV output and uniformity. The built-in test leaves the center closed, which is not very useful since most prints are made there.

Am i the only one who thinks this resin is nothing more then gel nail resin? ... haha smelled between the two and they even smell the same.. bet they even clean up with well with these too.. ??‍♂️ guess ill try on some smaller pieces and report back.

Stupid question. White lithium grease. The only kind I could find locally is a spray. I shielded the screen, back of case with paper but still got some on the case surfaces. I don't feel it was very effective, as I still have some squealing.

Anyone done a grease maintenance vid? Got some advice?
