Anyone ever use reptile terrarium heat mats inside their Photon as a resin heater? Seems like that would be an excellent and cheap way to control resin temperatures. You could even use an adhesive one and stick it to the outside of the printer so zero modifications necessary.

Hi Guys i just bought a used photon and the former owner just replaced the fep film ...and now when i have made a print i find a little bit of resin under the film on the LCD screen is that i problem?

Ok now that I have Gemini's over all shape its envelope spec to the actual Geminis dimensions I can start the not fun part! There are over 50 independent and geometrically different from each other "Shingles" On the capsule's outer surface. I imagine it will take 3 or 4 months to get it correct if I get it at all. But I wont get it at all if I don't try!
Here's an orbit of a rudimentary version of the capsule and Max Grüter's fine 3d version of Ed White that I tweaked a tiny bit. Max if you have a higher detail version of the model I'm interested in it! PM me.

what would you guys recommend for sealing prints? basically I have a print done in white resin and I don't want it to stain and stuff as it will be handled a lot. is there a clear coat or something you would recommend?

So, I was experiencing an issue where after a print there would appear to be some 'wetness' below the FEP film. I figured there might be a micro-perforation in the film, so I replaced it. After my first print on the new film... the issue is worse than ever. Did I just get unlucky and cause another leak in the first print off this film? Or could it be something else?
