Finally my first 3D printed fleet for the free tabletop game „Full Thrust“ is finished.
It is something completely different to paint spaceships compared to ww2 stuff… especially the weathering.

Well, I’m not satisfied with my first fleet but at least I have now something to play with ;)

Hey all, some of you may remember my recent posts about the Dental Castable resin mixup. Anycubic, Amy, and Zoe have been great with customer service.

The situation was I had ordered the Regular Green Resin and received a bottle with the Dental Castable Green Resin. I didn't open it in hopes of returning, but after getting the correct replacement I opened one today. The Dental Castable bottle appears to have the transparent regular green in it. Once I print with it I'll know for sure.

So it looks like the labels are wrong, not the resin. Has anyone else had this mixup and checked out the resin inside?

I know it is hard to see, but there is discoloration on two sides of this print and I was wondering if anyone had answers to what they could be. The part, along with two similar ones, were printed vertically due to inconsistencies with printing at a 45° angle.

Any suggestions on getting this to print better. Tried printing flat but screwed it up because I couldn’t get it off the bed and ended up breaking it... tried at 35 degrees on both x and y axis with TONS of supports but the bit at the top that is supposed to be perfectly flat has curved. The rest of it is fine

If you have resin on your gloves don’t hit them with a uv torch while on your hands. Didn’t realize it could burn you while curing.

On the other hand the torch is great
For closing drain holes so your
Models don’t leak.

Out of curiosity, has anyone gutted their Photon and modded it with a RaspPi + RAMPS (or other board) and then loaded nanoDLP? I may be oversimplifying quite a bit, but at least in my head it seems like it would be reasonably straightforward to do.

Can I ask, I'm new to resin printing. Parts like this is it ok to print them flat directly on the buildplate or is it better to angle the ant put support under them.
