I think I have one of the most complex support structures needed in a print. I have tried Meshmixer, auto-support generation, and my own supports and a combination of all. Trying to get the hair, the knives, and the cape/dress to all come out at .28mm scale. Here is the model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2239631 Any suggestions?

Well!

Back in June my screen crapped out on me. I was getting holes in my models because there were large areas of dead pixels.

I bought a replacement screen but botched the replacement job. And the test pattern was showing as all on, not a rectangle outline.

Last month Anycubic sent me anew one and it arrived Thursday.

I tried to install it today.

Bad news: the previous screen is kinda glued down and removing it is proving to be hard, and shards of glass are everywhere!

But the good news: I plugged the new screen in and confirmed it is working perfectly!

So hopefully after I remove the rest of the current shattered screen, I will be back in business, 8 months later!!!!

Feels bad.

Help please
I have the yellow windows printer bought in January off Amazon in the USA
What firmware should I be using? I'm stuck because I went to the anycubic site and looked at there firmware but on the github they have different ones that are not on the anycubic website. So what one do I need?

Hello all! I am currently considering buying a photon, but I have a few questions I'd like to ask before leaping into something I don't know much about.

Firstly, I keep hearing a lot about the smell of the resin and how toxic the fumes are, but just how bad is it? I have limited places to put it so it would be fairly close to my office and sleeping space and was wondering if this would be a bad idea?

Secondly, just how expensive is each print? I know that largely depends on the resin, but I have worked with a FDM printer previously and its hard to understand how long a bottle of resin will last when I am used to printing in meters of material.

Working on the photon today, thanks to this page I was able to find out my z axis wasn’t perpendicular to the surface of the screen. I was getting very subtle warping that was only apparent when trying to fit parts together. I’m hoping fixing this will resolve this issue
