Hi all , I have been using the photon for a couple of months now and have been pleased with the results.I changed my resin to Bluecast X5. as i want to cast the models. Which i have done successfully .My settings so far have been 100 seconds for the base layers of 6. My normal exposure has been 11 to 15. I have just printed using the resin calibration from photonsters using the resin-test-25u.B150.6-60 for slow resins . The result has given me a best column of 8 to 9. Question does this mean i have to multiply 8 or 9 by 6 to give me my normal exposure? 48 seconds seems to be way over what i have used so far. Whats your thoughts chaps.

Got my printer last friday, made a few successful prints and after cleaning the vat today, my fep film looks a bit foggy. Did I clean too hard? I used paper towel and alcohol. Do I need to replace the film or is it still good enough? Thanks.

Hello,
I've come to ask for help my problem on how I can resolve it
My printer came up to yesterday to work fine, but the Z axis stopped working, it manually goes up and down, but when it turns on the printer it makes a buzzing noise and does not go up or down, even with the commands of the printer.
What can I do, what problem is this? can you help me, I really need the printer to work. Thank you!

Hmmm so the Platform has stopped working. Sometimes just makes a buzzing sound when I try to move it on the touch screen. Some internets research seems to indicate this is not a rare phenomenon and usually requires some intervention with the assistance of Anycubic Support. They replied and said they are enjoying their Chinese New Year and won't be back until the 15th. Ah well, I don't begrudge them that, I bet they work hard. At least I've got lots of 3D printed minis to start painting! :)

Hello everyone! Does anyone have any details on the thermal properties of cured Anycubic UV resin?

I am trying to understand how it will cope with high temperatures, apx 250 deg C. I am planning on creating a few injection molds for ABS plastics.

Photonsters org and other sources don’t mention any thermal properties.

Grateful if anyone could give me a steer.

Hi there!! Thank you for welcoming me here! I have a new photon printer and after 3-4 days i have random issues. Im a bit frustrated so im looking forward for some advise..
First of all some of my prints came totally deformed on the side of the supports
As you can see, the good half and the bad half..
Another issue is that some parts that are supossed to be flat, are usually not, especially if i cut them with meshmixer to glue them later...
