Still getting the hang of this stuff. Most of my prints I put through a process of ipa->water->uv light. I find most usually end up with white frosted surface. I just tried it, skipping the water stage, ipa->uv light, and I got a good surface. Anyone else have this experience? is there any issue with skipping the water stage?

Continuing my morning post:

I've done as Sen Kun said and printed a box 20x20x40mm pointed upwards. The box is skewed by ~1.2° towards the printer's front door and by a couple of tenths of a degree (it's very hard to measure) towards the left side of the printer. I guess it really is that the Z axis isn't perpendicular to the table (red base). After a few failed prints, this is rocking now! The key to my prints seems to be using the Flint Read method to level and more base layers at slightly longer times. These are fresh off the bed.

I ordered 1L of the transparent green Anycubic resin online, but the seller sent me the dental castable green instead. Can anyone explain what 'dental castable' means? Does that just mean it's supposed to withstand high heat for casting?

Also, the resin settings on photonsters appears to be for the transparent green, so I presume I'll need to up my exposure times for this? I guess I'm on my own here. Or does anyone have any delicious settings they are willing to share for the dental castable green?
