I finally purchased a good air purifier to put in my printing room. With2 FDM printers and the Photon running I was really suffering. It has been running for about 9 days. The smell of resin and printing has been reduced like 95%. My wife does not complain, kids don’t complain. Fantastic!

I use gloves and respirator anytime I work with the resin or printed parts did anyone have any skin irritation or rash from contact with uncured resin?

Very satisfied with this print! Small device enclosures done with Monocure clear with some drops of black dye. Urgent job, that's the reason I printed the four parts at the same time. :)

what is the failure mode that typically indicates a need to replace the FEP? i haven't replaced mine yet, but i'm hoping it doesn't come down to "oh well now the resin is leaking onto the LCD, time to replace the FEP!"

Hi, thanks for the add.

I a compete newbie at 3D printing so looking for some advice if anyone can help, I have setup my photon and done a couple of test prints but they have all ended in the print below.

So couple of questions should the built plate still move once the leveling has been done and the screw in the bracket tightened? what level should the resin be filled to in the bed? And any recommendations on how long a cure time I should use for the first few layers of printing

Hello every one i would like some help please, im with the following problem in image, 2 parts modeled to fit one each other but is dosent happens...i was looking for xy compensation like simplify 3d and i found shrinkage or expansion factor of the resin... people says it can be from 3 to 6% ? .... is there a way to regulate the lcd to get closer of the resin to catch a smaller area and reduce the walls of the piece??
