edit: I'm having another go at this during the weekend after having to clean out the tank AGAIN! Could it be the contact depth? Its set at 0.20 at the moment. the resin was sold to me as high detail so maybe the finer detail causes finer supports and contact points which aren't upto the job?

Hi folks. I hope someone can help. I’ve been successfully printing using the Anycubic blue that came with the printer and then also the white with very little failures and if they did I know what the problem was.

But I recently bought fun2do ash grey and just can’t get it to print correctly. I used the settings that the company that sold it to me sidestep but still I must be missing something. One part of the print failed completely and dropped off leaving just the supports, the other looks like it shifted or something half way. Well I suspect the supports which where ok on the other resins may need to be thicker? Or something else. I’m at a loss here!

Yep this printer rocks. Me... not so much because I accidentally removed some tips of the sculpture while trimming the supports but the printer nailed everything.

My buddy bought some hero forge files for our gaming group and had me print them. I was happy with the print quality but man, his paint work is amazing. I supplied the minis and he painted them for us for xmas gifts. Yes, the female dwarf is huge, but there was a potion mishap that made her that way, but impressively, said friend painted both a large and standard mini of her identically so that if she returns to normal, we'll still have a mini for her that matches her size. I should just give him the printer because I don't have squat for painting skills and he loves it!

I am not clear how the Photon responds to off time.

I see people say 1 second off time. And I see people say 6 seconds off time.

And I think the printer takes 6 seconds just to reset each layer.

So if I put in 1, does that mean 6+1 since the printer takes 6 anyway?

If I put in 6, does that end up being 6 or 12?

Hey folks. Need some help. Looks like My FEP had a small hole in it because there was resin underneath after this last print finished. I wiped up the loose resin, but a dime to nickel size piece has cured/hardened on the LCD. Is it shot, or is there a way to remove it? I tried rubbing with some alcohol and that actually did make it smaller, but it's still there. Thoughts? Thanks for any help.
