OK - still trying my first print with the Nova3D blue but on first impressions, packaging, instructions, etc - big fail. Again, the resin may actually be great - should know soon- but it arrived from Amazon in a bottle - no box or padding like the Anycubic resin. No plastic cap inside the bottle, and nothing holding the top of the cap down - in other words, twist and there you go. And finally, no settings, no instructions, no nothing. I guess I know now why it was fairly cheap.....

Now let's see how it prints....

Happy new year!

Has anyone managed to print the Eiffel Tower from thingiverse with the balustrade intact? I get the horizontal part but the vertical pillars seem to be beyond my printer.

I picked up these twist top airtight containers that are about 5 inches tall and 4 inches round. I am going to use them to do my IPA washes. I also purchased a stainless steel mesh filter that I can dip into the IPA and fits within the airtight container. Hoping the IPA won't eat away at the stainless steel mesh and this will be an easy and useful solution. I was thinking I could use a second one to do a water wash after the resin wash. Then all I would have to do is blow the water off with air. How flawed is this plan?

I am not having luck with how to support these. I would normally do it flat on the bed, but that left a ridge. Then I tried raising it many ways, and that left a mess of pock marks. If anyone know they can print this well, I would love to see what settings you would use.

I made a two-sided die to try to get my kids into making and printing their own models. I suggested Fusion 360 rather than something like Tinkercad.

Two of my kids got interested and decided to learn some software. My 11-year-old son, Steven, stunned me by making the 20mm die in about 45 minutes on his first night without my help except for two questions. He watched a YouTube tutorial.

I want to print him a nice set so he can paint them.
