Hey guys looking for a little help here just set up my photon got everything level put the resin in the vat I selected the test Cube model the fan was running everything's fine the plate dropped down into the resin and then I heard a light humming vibrating sound doesn't sound horrible it's just it was an addition to the fan noise I guess my question is is that normal? Also it's been about 10minutes and it's still sitting at 1% any insight would be greatly appreciated thank you.

One of the best decision I did is joining this lovely group. Great idea and wonderful community that always help.
I had my first print today and surprise it was a successful one. A lot of conversations was about the strong smell Anycubic resin and that's why I thought the first print will be (Rear Vent to 4" Adapter for Anycubic Photon), even though in the description it says to print it with FDM printer, so I'm not sure if it will be good enough to be used for this purpose yet.
I thought it was about to fail, as you can see from the picture, nearly the based support was going to fall down. is it because the base was to thin? how can I avoid this in the future?
I nearly haven't done any change to the stl file, haven't change any values and used auto support, I just change the orientation to fit and that's about it.
We had rain all day and I don't have a chance to direct the model to any UV light, hopefully, tomorrow will be sunny and I can do it. How long I should leave it in the sun?
Anyway here is my final model, I'm planning to use a primer and then start using it.

Any thoughts on changing the Z speed higher than 300?

Presumably the factory picked 300 based on testing, but you never know.

My Anova Sous Vide cooker notifies me on my iPhone when my food is done from my iPhone. The Photon should do that. And if that is too hard, at least a loud chime from the printer itself.
