So pulled the trigger and bought the photon should be here 27th.
So what next apart from lots of gloves and alcohol
Is there a slicing software better then the one that comes one the usb stick ?
Anything to look out for upon setup.

Tip for Anycubic:
If you are designing another version of photon, put magnet for closing doors at the doors itself, and on down plate, where screen is, from underside you can put piece of metal or something. In my opinion, you dont need magnet at all. Reason for this is that every time you take tray in or out, magnet attract metal screws which hold fep sheet, which make it bit hard for navigation, and prone for fep sctraching.
Not much, but if you can make product better, without including more parts, just better design, why not :)

Got my uv lamp today, picked a model that I see used in the videos. It survived maybe for a minute until I heard a bang and it died. Took out the fuse from the socket to see if it was blown only to see the fuse plug is just for show. It's not connected to anything. Chinese cheapie stuff is crap?? I know, I'm as shocked as you are!

Hi folks.
How critical is ambient temperature with DLP printing?
My printer is in a ManCave that costs a fortunce to heat using its electric heaters. I'm towing with building a heated enclosure with airflow and a filter so that I don't have to heat a whole room for a small printer.
Any thoughts?

I may even make one for this and for my Rostock Max V3 in the same space.
