Hi! i´m currently printing surgical guides in a form 2 with the formlabs Dental SG resin, but i want to start doing it in my anycubic photon. Can someone recomend a surgical guide biocompatible resin please?? Thank you!

I have a question regarding islands. I have tried slicing this mini from HeroForge standing upright, at a 20 degree angle, a 40 degree angle, and even upside down and I still get islands in the Photon File Validator. How much of a concern is this, and how best to correct them?

Hello,

I've recently got an Anycubic Photon but I've noticed that the underside of my prints where the supports make contact have very poor definition.

As you can see in the pictures a lot of detail is missing and looks like it's been rounded out or smushed together.

Does anyone know what causes this and what steps I can take to fix it?

Going to print out of PLA nice tray for my Photon. Tray has four rubber feet cavities for centering, spout for pouring spilled resin back to bottle and recessed front side just for the sake of it. Should I add any additional features?

Iam a litle bit confused about the Print Bed Size.
The manual says 120x65x155mm but the standart coniguration in the Photon Slicer is 121x68x150mm, so whats correct?

Several people have suggested using microfibre cloth to clean the vat and FEP film, instead of paper towels. But how do you then clean the microfibre? Rinse it in IPA each time? Seems a bit awkward when there's usually quite a bit of resin on the towel, which you can just throw away!

2nd attemp. Still failed, however got a LOT further. Will try thicker supports next time. THE VAT FEP is damaged. Struggling to scrape the print off it SPLIT the FEP ply layer....now it looks and feels normal under the wreckage! If I rip the rest of the sheet away at the edges and dont print at edge of vat can I still use this FEP? Already on my 2nd FEP and only printed 5 things with the Photon altogether. Help. :(
