Hello Photonsters,
I been busy with life and not had a chance to do printing recently so I decided to run a test by leaving a vat full of F2D IB black resin in the printer for over 4 months with the printer kept on a shelf in a dusty garden outbuilding.

Well this afternoon I opened the door to see what state it was now in and I'm happy to report that both the printer and the resin after stirring still print with perfect detail. I did not need to re-level the printer or do anything other than remove the vat and wipe a bit if spillage from over zealous stirring.

The only modification I have made to the printer is I left the white plastic covers on the window panels and more importantly I installed a screen protector meant for the Switch console over the top of the LCD which has the benefits of making it watertight for any leaking resin.

I'm quite impressed as I expected something to go wrong, needless to say I won't be doing much cleanup when I have a lull between printing sessions.

I wouldn't suggest leaving it anywhere near this long but knowing you don't *have to* clean it every time you finish a batch is nice.

Thanks for the add. My wife has bought me an Anycubic Photon for Xmas. I'm hoping to print scenic details, figures and some small wagons in 1/76 scale and I'm probably going to need help.

A fun print today. Dabbing space marine. Scaled at 100% and 150%. Though you might like to see the quality of 0.05mm against an official injection moulded miniature.

25 micron test print. Anycubic transculent green. 8 bottom layers 60s exposure, normal exposure 13s and 6,5s off.

I hope I am missing something. When I import an STL into either Anycubic's slicing software or ChiTuBox the models come in really small. It seems like the software is not translating the size of the models correctly. I can scale it to make it work but these parts have critical dimensions that need to be maintained.

Any ideas?

latest print: a knife display stand with anycubic clear (which for some reason has a yellowish tint to it)
Model from thingiverse and hollowed in meshmixer.
Settings: 0.05 layer, 13 exposure, 60 base exp and 8 base layers.
Overall a great print (other than the pissy colour!) :p

What do you guys use for slicing? I am used to simplify3D for my FDM printers and working with the anycubic photon slicer is pain in the ass. Especially when I try to place and move multiple objects
