Why does adding a raft(skate) make it fall off the build plate? Before and after printing directly to the plate or supports and it sticks. Anycubic green 75% / Sierra Blu 25% 8 bot @ 120 sec, 10 sec .05um on a PhotonS. 6 prints 2 with the skate and it prints the skate then fails

Hi folks looking for some advice. Just received my photon s today (1st 3d printer) Im going to print a small shuttle for a trek kit im building the intention is to light it so have some elegoo translucent resin. Anyone know if the cured resin allows good diffusion of light through it so I can print it solid would prefer not to hollow it as I don't fancy a bunch of unsupported islands and a failed print.

Running out of anycubic green so got maroon. First print the bottom layers peeled off. I dunno if i need to increase my bottom exposure time

Just got my very first Photon (heck, first 3d printer ever!). Taking a look at the standard grey resin, it lists base curing time to be 20-80 seconds, and layer time is 3-15 seconds. That seems like quite the spread to me. Should I stick to the low end? High end? Middle of the road? Something else entirely? How do I know what "right" is? Thanks, all! <3

I printed my first prints with Elegoo Grey resin and followed the settings in the lofty spreadsheet of resin goodness. It calls for 100s for 8 base layers and then 18s for every layer after. The prints I got out looked okay but feel a bit "soft" or "gummy". Leaving them in the sun for a couple days has given me little to no improvement. My guess is that the normal layer exposure is too long and I'm getting some light bleeding but thought I'd ask in here. Anyone else using Elegoo Grey with these or different settings?

Discovered that soaking a mini in hot water (not boiling) allows supports to just peel off with no damage. Just passing it on to those who will find it helpful ?

Obviously be careful with delicate weapons etc
