So if the Photon File Validator program hangs when I try to open up a Chitubox .Photon file, that's probably a bad thing, right?

Hi all, just wanted to thank all those who contribute information and time to help make the most of these printers. Just finished my third print ever and it had me a little worried when I started. Thanks to yalls contributions I learned how to position best for the supports, used the optimal timings for the resin, learned how to hollow out the model, optimized post processing, and I am very pleased with the results. I see many areas that I can improve but this will be a great gift for my DM. Thanks again for all the support you give, I couldn't have gotten this far this fast without the hive mind.

Hey folks. New photon owner here. I just downloaded Chitubox 1.5 and it crashes everytime on startup. It was first looking for a dll file and I fixed that by installing C++ but now I see the splash screen then crash. I'm using Windows 7 64bit. Any suggestions?

Just received the photon s, z moves ok and LCD shows the rectangle light but it doesn't detect the included USB at all -file list is empty even though the red light on the stick comes on. I'm trying to print the included test file PHOTONS.photons My pc can read it fine. Did anyone else have this issue and manage to fix it? Also tried other FAT32 drives no luck..

First print done! NO FUCKING LINES HOW GOOD IS THAT!
although I Lost some detail. I think maybe because it finished druing the night and i wasnt up to put it in the bath straight away. Can anyone confirm I need to be there pretty much on its finish?

I put the epax firmware update on my drive and plugged it in. Photon beeped a ton. The screen is now inverted colors and the beep is twice as loud as it used to be. The it shows it being on the new firmware but I never printed the update files like the instructions say. Did I do something wrong?

So what's the deal here then knowledgeable people? Horrible lines up to about 4cm or so then it's perfect (apart from me knocking the antenna off when removing supports). Is this Z-wobble? Dodgy z screw?
