So, i've been running functional prints with the PrimaCreator Value resin, which is pretty nice, with plenty of toughness. I find it a bit brittle though. Is there a way to overcome this? I've looked for Sirayatech Blu, but I can't find a European based supplier for it.

I have looked at the eSun resins aswell, but I have the same problem as with the Sirayatech one.

What are my fellow Europeans running on their Photons?

What happens if I print details too small? For example there are some highly detailed guns on thingiverse. If I mesh those onto a 32mm mini, will it be safe and just fuse together or will it cause a failed print somehow?

Anyone had any joy printing pure Monocure Flex 100? Mine have all come out like dead jellyfish and go super brittle after about 2 mins of curing...

Is it normal that during printing / 0.03mm; 8 seconds / during lifting the working platform, you can hear the sound of the model being torn off the FEP foil??

Is the exposure time too long? Maybe something is wrong with FEP foil? Or is this normal for larger printouts?

Hi,

Is there any way to avoid support model contact in chitubox? I have a model where the support is added to a earlier exposed part of the model rather than the base.

Best regards
Morten

Stupid Question#47: when your exposure tests come out as a blank sheet of resin that means it's pressing to hard on the z axis, right?

Edit: as stated in the comments, I had forgot to set test mode. It's great now, was able to print the exposure test perfectly

My mother bought a DustDaddy attachment for a vacuum. Unfortunately it didn't come with a Dyson adapter.
After a Thingiverse search I found an adapter.
4h 51m later....

First print with AC Grey with 20% flex100.
Same settings I use for normal AC Grey.

I have a model of a train that is very, very, detailed with extremely small parts. Some of the parts I'm concerned with are the rails or pipes going down the sides of the engine at the top. It seems they may even be smaller than the small supports! There are also overhangs that need support in areas that are almost inaccessible, particularly in the back in the cab area. I can add supports to that area but I'm not sure I would be able to remove those once printed. I'm wondering If I should try to print this as one piece or separate it, flat on the build plate or angled? I have the STL in multiple parts, in fact, it breaks down into literally a thousand parts so I can choose to print it however I like. Any ideas on how I should proceed?
