Yo,i am here in this page for 1 month almost (got here b4 i get my printer so i can learn things b4 i start working with it ) i seen many things around here but not this, your finish things most of the times are transparent, also my 1st print (test anycubic tube) was also transparent, but my 2nd print (the one in the pictures) got all white and stuff.

So my questions are.

1st can i keep it transparent in anyway ?

2nd how you deal with the supports they seem to when they brake they take a part of the model with them and they leave a scuff

3d in the last picture there is something strange in the models back of the jaw ,looks like a lake of resin stayed there ( its the same from both sides) why that happent ?

P.s. i used photon s and the green anycubic resin that came with the box

Thnx in advance

Steve
Edit:also seems like it dried and has some difrent layers of dryness i dont know how to call it ,i mean the line in the top of the head is that cause of difrent exposures ?

My apologies if this has been asked before. I’m not even sure the best way to ask this in order to search for existing answers.

I print round the clock on my FDM printers. Sometimes this leaves an object on the built plate for a while if a job finishes while I’m sleeping or at work.

Since resin printing is a multi-step process, I was wondering, are there any steps that are better or worse to be sitting around?

1. On the build plate, post print.
2. In the alcohol bath
3. In the water rinse
4. Under the UV lamp

The middle two steps I’m not *too* concerned with since they’re relatively short. But if I leave a print on the plate for a few hours or under the UV lamp am I likely to end up with a mess or an overexposed print?

Thanks for your time!

I am shopping around for new FEP sheets. Found monocure sheets for 25 euro for a 5 pack. Now they got it in 100 micron or 200 micron. Which ine is advisable to use? Decided on elegoo grey for D&D miniatures. What can I add into it to make the miniatures abit more tough? Been out of the resin game for months

OK question for you experts out there. I have been using my photon for a couple weeks now and have produced some great parts however I came across a problem I had not noticed before. I'm use the Tough Resin from Siraya Tech Blu.

There is a thickness discrepancy. Every part I'm printing has between .2 and .3mm extra thickness. Is this something I can fix within the rip software or do I have to adjust for this in my designs?

Over curing, is it a thing I should be concerned with?

I tend to leave my prints in my curing station overnight or while I'm at work. I haven't noticed any ill effects from it yet but I've heard people talk about it. Is this a thing? What does this thing do?

Question about UV curing the prints in water: I like the speed, the resulting surface quality, and the lack of warping. But this white deposit ruins everything. Tried ultrasonic cleaning and mineral spirits to no effect.

Is there a way to water-cure the prints and not get this whitening?
