It has happened agin I thought it might be the resin but after trying 2 diffent bottles of resin it must be the .photon file... any other thoughts?

I had a few questions. I’ve followed the guide on git hub for resin setting for elegoo grey. It has layer height at 0.05mm as optimal. Can I go lower than this? Will it effect print quality or increase fail rate? If I can change the layer height do I need to change any other setting? I have an anycubic photon.
