When I hollow parts and leave the drain hole sometimes alcohol doesn’t get into the hole and all the resin doesn’t get washed out completely- I bought a set of these at the local hobby shop for injecting IPA right into the drain hole and they work great! Came 8 to a pack for about 10 bucks- I imagine Amazon might have them even cheaper.

So printing is going well thanks to the help of the community. Couple pics of the successful prints after priming and painting.

I have two questions.

1. Should i update the firmware on my photon? It seems to work fine however i want the anti anal. But i see a lot of issues where people switch back. So is it worth it?

2. Some models i get print lines some i dont. Seems to only happen on flat surfaces. Any ideas? The zumba keychain on the right was printed at an angle

<Sigh> replaced my spotted LCD and it looks like I pinched the ribbon cable for the front panel as I closed up the case, because the display is there but it won't respond to touch anymore :p

Supports! I'm using Siraya Blu on a Photon S to print 25mm-32mm miniature for the most part and I'm still trying to find the optimal starting point for supports. I just switched from thin supports on a raft to thicker supports as recommended by Siraya and I'm quickly realizing that it's overkill for what I'm printing. As an example, the Siraya recommendation keeps destroying the wings of the faerie; the wings were fine when I used the thinner supports.

So what are your starting points for Chitubox?

Note: I'm using the exposure settings that Siraya recommends for printing in Blu on the Photon S at around 25-35 Celsius.

Best settings for Elegoo Gray? I've used the sheet, but curious what successes others have had. I've used 18 secs, 11 secs, and 7 seconds without too noticeable a difference.

Getting ready to use Siraya Blu for the first time. I've only used AC Green so far. I just put the bottle outside so it can warm up while I work on getting the models ready for slicing.

After I print the minis I need for my D&D game on Friday, I might see what happens with some Dungeon Tiles. Obviously an FDM would be better, but since I don't have one, I might as well try with the Blu.

Hi, I’ve only had my Photon since last week. The test print and my first few prints came out great. My last couple though just aren’t printing, there is nothing on the plate. I’ve done a UV test and that was successful, do you know what could be causing nothing to be on the plate?
