So I printed the Elegoo Rooks as a test. The pieces turned out pretty decent. I used an ultrasonic bath with Mean Green for 300ish seconds, then rinsed in a secondary bath. I bought a cheap UV nail light which may have been too cheap. So I fashioned a tub of UV LED strips. After passing out and leaving the light on the turntable all night, I'm still left with sticky patches on the Rooks. Is this still uncured resin? Perhaps it's cleaner?

I'm having a really hard time adding individual supports in ChiTuBox. It seems totally arbitrary where it will let me add and where it won't. Sometimes it's a matter of moving over just a pixel or two on a flat, unobstructed surface, or sometimes if I just click on the same spot 20 times, it will finally work. I've adjusted (and reset) every variable on the screen. I've re-installed the program. I've updated the program. I've had the same problem with dozens of models, and I can't find any logic to it.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hey folks, I’ve been having an issue with my printer where I consistently find a blob of cured resin in my vat after prints. My prints come out just fine, so it’s more or less just a waste of resin. It always shows up in the same place but seems to form around where the models are on the build plate. It’s not ambient light since it happens no matter when I print or how I cover the printer to block light. I’ve also tried changing the FEP. Is this a sign that my screen is wearing out and needs to be replaced?

The vat photos are from this morning, the chunk of resin I pulled out is from last week.

Looking to see if anyone has ran into this and know a fix. When I’m printing my machine will pause. Then reboot and return to the main menu. Anyone know what the issue might be. I just reformatted the flash drive, And re sliced a file, the issue is still persisting. The printer is maybe only a week old.

Dear friends, my trouble: The printer prints the first 4 layers perfectly and then it stops moving in the Z axes, it keeps proyecting the layers but no further Z movements.. The bed is not glue to the fep, I can lift the bed with the display commands.. It was perfect before, is it broken beyond repair? Thanks for your tips!!
