I recently got a nice bonus from work, and decided to treat myself to a Photon S. However, halfway through my very first print, the UV light went chips. Fortunately, Amazon are taking it back with a full refund.
Now, should I try again with the S, or go to the regular Photon.
I was impressed by the stability of the S with its dual rails - is this "z wobble" thing a major issue with the regular, and can it be fixed easily?

Any suggestions on the best way to print this piece? The problem I ran into is that the "bottom armpits" were collecting uncured resin and becoming a blob. But I don't want to invert it, because the top will be the most visible piece and I dont want to lose the detail or add support divets there. Im thinking the best idea might be to slice it in half horizontally and try to glue the halves together, but I haven't had the best luck with that method in the past.

I’m using Anycubic Aqua Blue right now on my Photon S.
50 micron layers @ 9 Exposure

I really feel like I should be getting better details this Resin seems to swell the details

Is there a reason for that?
Anyone have the same experience?

Is anyone from UK interested in used Photon? I've started to work a lot of hours so I don't have time to play around with it. You will get all accessories from the pic , air filter and duct exhaust fan and duct hose with custom made and printed attachment for fan so it can be connected easier (you just have to slide it in there) and printed attachment for printer as well. Printer is AROUND 6 months old. You can see from the pics that build plate is slightly scratched but I had no problems with it. As well FEP film is used so might need changing if you don't like it how it looks but in general I was working with it and had no problems.
If anyone is interested please inbox me.
