Hey guys! This a expectation vs reality meme!
I’m trying to print the same ring with bluecast for a week learning about my errors, but I have to get eyes everywhere!
I hear a sound like something sticking when the platform is going up, have you ever heard it? This are the results and I don’t know what should I expect about precision on photon.
What can I do? I’m frustrated!

Hi guys, I'm wondering if there is something I can do to get cleaner back sides of the prints. The display side is always awesome but the side closest to the platform always gets resin runs that solidify from the off time motions. Is it a setting issue or something else?

When hollowing a model and the adding supports to print. Do people include supports inside the hollow portion as well?

I’ve been using Chitubox to hollow prints and then running them through the Photon file validator to find islands. However I’m finding islands inside the model.

Will they need supports as well?

Sooo I printed the test model and it didn't came out at all ?
That's what's left on the platform (I tried the first time with the settings of the file and once I changed them)
Is anyone know (or can guess ? ? ) what could be the problem?

So—might be hard to hear this... I put the mic right up to the printer so mostly you just hear fans, but if you listen, you’ll hear the stepper start turning, the “click” as the print separates from the fep, and then, on the descent three low clunks, that can also be felt vibrationally thru the printer just befor the print settles for the next layers. Any ideas where I should start looking to troubleshoot?

There is a way to use the Form Labs Slider to use with the Photon? I mean, export the "supported" stl to be sliced with ChituBox for example.
I love the way that FormLabs slider look for the best position of the object and creates the supports based on that.
I was looking for extract the STL from the form file but it only was possible with an old version of the software that is not available to donwload.

my first figure print. and my first hollow print as well. turned out great except for a somewhat thin cured resin layer near the tip of the robe. but nothing that post processing can't handle.
