This may be more of a general question, but I'm probably going to get the Photon to print it so it's relevant:

What's the smallest thickness that these printers can do? I'm used to designing for FDM but I'm currently designing a Mouse Droid for printing at 1:12th scale (about 21mm) tall.

Some of the smaller parts are around 0.05mm thick (see the blue lines).

I just want to be sure that it's going to print, or should I be making some changes now before I try?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I decided to test my Photon, so I printed a benchy. The white one is 100% scale on my FDM Folgertech FT-5 for compairison. I printed one at 50%, 35%, 25%, 17%, and 10%. I cannot believe that it printed @ 10@ size. I actually accidentally crushed it when trying to clean and cure it. The Photon is amazing!

Photos at the bottom were freshly cured.
I went on holiday for 9 days, came home and they look like the top.

They've been in a dark garage. Did I not cure them enough before? Or is there some other issue with them?

Cheers guys

Anyone able to explain these unusual lines on the model? I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on with it, I have been getting these sorts of lines with multiple different files.

The files are all perfectly smooth in the slicer. The lines aren't parallel the the build plate so I can't think they would be layer lines, and they wouldn't be that far apart if they were layer lines anyway.

I've had roughly the same result using the standard Photon slicer and ChiTuBox.

Black resin recommendations? I've managed to print a replacement part for a very small part of a very small model train (1:220 / Z scale) - it's a part that will have an even smaller metal part running back and forth through it when the train moves (a steam cylinder). So I suspect the black paint I've put on might end up rubbing off the white resin I happen to be using at the moment. Black resin seems like a better solution. Any recommendations? Are any better than others for mechanical applications like this?
