Hey there photonsters, what’s happening? So I need to change my FEP and I’ve seen people posting about using some kind of phone app to tune the film. What app do you all use? And what happens if it’s a little too tight?

Confirmed motor is quieter after update! Much quieter! Sounds like a stepper motor now with short sharp movement bursts instead of constant noise. But the print releasing off the FEP now is noisier than the motor! I’ll let you know in 3hrs if the print works
firmware upgrade from 4.2.5 to 4.2.12

Greetings everyone.
I'm a very new user, and never used other DLP before. I'd like to ask some questions on my mind,

1. Can photon print movable parts directly like "Flexy Rex"

2. The official resin is fragile and hard after curing. Is there a "soft or more flexible" resin . If exists, what is your suggestion? and the suggested curing time?

Someone asked about Pi Zero W as a thumb drive a bit ago. Yup it works fine.

The zero was 5 bucks (Micro center had a sale, I bought all I could each time I went)
SD card was found in a change jar.
Less than a buck worth of resin? for the case.
The micro USB cable is probably the most expensive component.
I call it the poor mans wifi thumb drive.

These are mostly coming out OK, but with occasional small holes (seemingly, the application of IPA makes them appear). And some detach from the build plate (left). Longer exposure times needed?

Thank you for the add. I am getting my Photon on Friday. I have an FDM printer setup now, and I am excited to get this SLA UV Resin Printer up and running.

I am still learning, but a quick question: It seems to me that you can import the STL files created in your design SW (in my case Solidworks) to the Photon's slicer software. Is this correct? Or is there another format required for the SLA process?
