Hey folks, I am having issues where the build plate stops rising but the printer keeps on printing and the screen shows a completed print.

It's an intermittent problem and whenever I think I've solved it it happens again and I'm not only getting frustrated but I am wasting a ton of resin.

It's happening on all resolutions and also with several objects on the plate as well as just a single one.

Auto supports and manual supports, Photon slicer and Chitubox. I've leveled the build plate multiple times.

I've used a quality USB stick of 8GB. I'm really at a loss.

Any suggestions on what I should do for troubleshooting?

Is there any cheaper alternative to resinaway? I mean over $90 for 2l, thats alot. Been using IPA and denaturered alcohol but it's nasty, I use a mask but the smell lingers.

Unfortunately my FEP film managed to get a hole, and some resin leaked out onto my screen. I have attempted to wipe it of with isopropanol, with no effect. Has anyone got another idea to remove this resin?

I really must remember to top up before printing as after 13 hours there wasn't much resin left! (luckily I only lost a bit on one of the corners)

Can anyone point me to what needs to be done to resolve this issue? Been having this happen randomly on recent prints, and have already swapped the FEP film, ran through leveling, and made sure I was using the same settings as on the google sheet.

Ideas?

So ive been waiting a couple weeks here in the US expecting the Photon to go on a flash sale on Amazon. It's done the opposite and gone up in price 4 times since i started watching. I thought they would want to clear the inventory before the new model arrives. The price is up to $489 but it does look like the seller is a third party. Guess I'll be waiting for the new model to be in stock on Amazon. Just hoping it doesn't take too long.

Disaster, small puncture in Fep, no spares on shelf , more on way but not due for a week, what can I do ?.
Carefully clingfilm vat underside and pull tight and fold up round the vat sides - result , works perfecly, inspected vat underside after print and it has stayed dry , almost a permanent repair although I will replace it when new Fep arrives.
