My photon screen is cracked so need to replace it. Can you please recommend me any seller in aliexpress or ebay (please give me exact link) . Amazon here in Latvia usually is not very good option. And also i seen here in this group reporting that some screens are not transparent (seems not for 3d printer) so how to avoid purchasing it.

I've seen the recommendation to tape around the screen in order to prevent an unfortunate vat leak from dripping into the machine.

Is there a specific tape recommended or will any clear tape do the trick? Would it be conceivable to tape the entire screen to prevent scratches / resin build up?

Well... I need to say. 3D okay Grey Resin.
Cheapest resin on market but it’s soo crisp.
4/5 prints fail. But still in love xD

Ok, the more I read about resins the more confused I get. I'm just looking to print board game miniatures that will be handled quite a bit. I have heard about mixing flex 100 with Anycubic resin, I have also seen Phrozen ABS like resin, and like 4 different Formlabs resins. Anyone know which straight or mix combo is closest to game miniatures (like Super Dungeon Explore). Thanks in advance!

Dear new Photon owners, please read this.
PSA

All Photons ship with the FEP film preinstalled in the vat. They used to be tensioned correctly from the factory. However, this may no longer be true as the Amazon listings now include the warning pictured.

The instruction booklet does not warn you to check FEP tension. If you did not notice this warning, and did not tighten the FEP, you may get print failures due to an under-tensioned FEP.

However, if you did receive a vat with already correctly tensioned FEP from factory, and you still followed the warning instructions and further tightened it, you may get print failures due to an over-tensioned FEP.

The only way to be sure is to check!

been working on these last couple days made with some kitbash and some custom modeling, several bits are still just placeholder (such as the biped mannequins ) hoping to print it at 1/64 scale for gaslands, goina take a few trys of printing and beefing up and adjusting bits to get it all to work out well, but i think its possible.
