ok Folks, got a wee bit of a problem, i took the machine apart and tightened up the Z a bit and reassembled it, i ran a print and i'm getting what i call ghost cure, where a super thin layer of resin cures on the bottom of the vat over time, i am using a new usb, i've looked at my screen and do not notice any flashing or problems with it. what are other causes of ghostcure?

So, this happens if you left your print in the sun and inside your car
With a mix of 50% monocure flex 100 and 50% anycubic gray
Should this be normal?

Hey guys, I’ve got a noob question; what’s the smallest z-step the Photon is capable of? The specs I’ve found online say 25microns, but I feel like others have gone down to 10microns

So how do these prints do if they are say left in a car on a hot summer day? Prints for my fdm printer melt, or at least droop, but what about these ones? How well does the resin hold up on heat

For those of you mixing flex with regular resins, do you have measuring cups or something along those lines or do you just eyeball it? Do you mix in something and then pour into the vat or keep a premixed bottle?

I think I’m going to grab some flex for the minis I’m printing but figured I’d ask the experts to see the best way to mix.

So... Orange anycubic resin didn't stick to the plate ( which is well placed ). I used the community settings, but It didn't worked. I had no problems until I changed to this Orange resin. So I guess I will have to play with the settings for a while before seeing results....

Any suggestions? :(

I received a replacement printer from Amazon (first one had a lot of problems with biggest being the LCD cable needed to be reseated regularly and would go on the fritz mid print). I got a much better test print off the new printer. The z-axis sounds "crunchy" and I do see some repeating layer lines on the z (can't get a good photo of them). After reading here, I'll try doing the z-axis adjustment per the Anycubic video. But overall, this is much better. One quick IPA rinse, then blown off with compressed air and 15 minutes in UV.
