Fume Extraction! Do you do it and whats your set up?

Just printed the rear extraction duct for my photon as i will be printing in my bedroom and sleeping about 6-8ft away from the printer during printing. There is a small fan inside the build area that sucks the fumes out of the build area and into the bottom of the machine, before i opened it i assumed the fan was ducted straight out of the back of the machine but it seems it just gets pumped into the bottom of the machine at which point it could go anywhere, but most likely it will get sucked through the motherboard fan on the bottom of the unit. So do i need an in line fan in my ducting thats running to the window to create a negative air pressure inside the bottom of the case? or are there other solutions? any input appreciated. TIA!

Is photons auto support too dense? I was watching videos of people making their own supports and the first thing i immediately noticed was they were using way less supports. So is auto support just simply overkill?

I wanted to try and print minis with a base directly on the plate. But, when placing supports I felt like it would be a pain to remove em cleanly, also, I dont know if the end result would be good. Obviously the base would require less sanding to make it flat. Anyone prints minis directly on the plate?
