Okay, so I ran another print out of the Porsche Cayman 981 an even at .025 i still get striations, is this right or are my settings still wrong..also, still getting a weird happening with the wheels, experts please help me, ?

Hi all. Does anyone know the reason that we use nitrile gloves, as opposed to latex/vinyl?

Also, has anyone tried using thick gloves (like Dishwashing gloves), and then just cleaning them of with IPA?

Had to redo the legs cause the material just wouldn't play nice with shrinkage of connection joints. But I'm pleased with the outcome!

Okay this is a tempt at print number 7 off of this photon after having had a small bit of luck printing parts that I made but still having issues I decided to revert to an old standard, stick with what works.
So I downloaded this model and of course had to learn to use Meshmixer so that I could Hollow it out and add Towers to it. Then over to the slicer and give that one more shot at seeing if I understood what I was doing.
Of course on top of that it was digging out slicer settings for Clear resin. What I never stopped to think about is that rendering the slices is a lot like rendering animation and this took my computer around an hour and a half to slice. I did it wrong the first time and mounted it with the base of the statue against the build plate. I'm glad it failed because I didn't think about dumping out all of the resin.
Then on the second pass I thought I'm going to flip this thing over and print it with the head against the base plate that way all of the resin can drain out of the opening. 12 1/2 hours later I got it.
I think I'll keep this printer. Now to try to figure out how long to leave it under the UV lights.
