Hey guys, Having no end of bother getting a good finish with the Anycubic Yellow resin and was wondering how you guys solve this problem??

If I print this little stand using white or grey resin its perfect, but Yellow has 2 problems.

Firstly if comes out covered in uncured resin. This pools up in the groves and as almost invisible until cured, then I have to attack it with a knife and ruin the finish.

Secondly I wash the things in 99% IPA (to try to get rid of the pooling resin) They look fine, but as soon as I wash the IPA off they go all horrible a cloudy :(

My settings are
0.005 Layer Height
10 seconds Exposure TIme
4 Second Off Time
80 Second Bottom Layer Exposure
10 Bottom Layers

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, i’m experimenting with the new chitu slicer. Can someone tell me why supports doesn’t touch the model only in few spot? I haven’t touch any of support parameters and used anycubic photon machine default settings. It’s not the first time.
Lukily all the prints managed to succeed.

What went wrong here?
Bed level Maybe normal exposure time too long and wonder what I'm doing wrong?

Quick question, Trying to finish troubleshooting this issue with z lines. I home'd the Z and as it traveled down I would feel a couple spots that it felt like the carriage wobbled or dropped/traveled faster towards home. I'm figuring I'm going to have to adjust the bearing block, but just want to double check.

How long does FEP film for the Photon usually last? I'm using 95% Rubbing Alcohol or 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and normal paper towels to clean mine and it's already looking pretty cloudy after only 5 print (3 of them failed prints requiring clean-up including plastic scraper). The cloudiness might just be residue from the alcohol so there's probably a way to remove it.
At what point does the FEP's optical degradation start to affect prints and need to be replaced?
