I am really loving the ways these printers have changed the model business. I don’t have to mess around with white metal castings anymore: no flash, no parting lines...just clean beautiful models!

Well after months of trial and error, design refinements, etc, I finally managed to achieve an articulated part...not a snap together, which
I been doing, but one printed as a single print. So many failures with joints fusing, etc....but now success!
Now I can start refining the system!

Finally decided to put some of my favorite resins to a true comparison....not just exposure but strength, dimensional stability, ability to produce very fine thin details, etc.
Will be interesting to see how they all compare side by side. Doing the same parts, same cure cycles, all the same tests on each. I’ll be running the same models in each color as well once I’ve really optimized exposure times.

Pushing the limits once again...worked...in N scale!!! This one has a movable/extendable boom, hinged bucket, swivel body and rolling wheels. A mix of Monocure blue, Siraya abs-like white, and Monocure flex (40-40-20) .04 @ 11 secs.
Now for the drop-kick-toss tests...

Some of my latest prints: Amazing how these printers have changed modeling...especially for people in small scales!
The helicopter rotors are printed in Siraya White ABS-like (I love the durability as it has some give to it. Everything else is done in Anycubic gray, except the truck tires are Monocure black.

I pulled off my best articulated model yet. Finally figuring out proper clearances of all the parts. Not only does the ram slide in and out as well as tilt up and down, but the chisel head swivels (took a bit of engineering to get that to work. Now just to fill the orders.

I constantly am amazed at how well these printers do...the "hydraulic cylinders" in the photo are .010" in diameter on the small end! And the fit of the parts is awesome. I figured .005" clearance and the parts fit beautifully
