I did a test print today to help my wife with her dental stuff. It came out great. The only thing bugging me are those randon layer lines. Any clues on how to solve that? I'll maybe try printing in a 45 degree angle with suports next time.

I’m brainstorming how to produce a particular prop when an idea occurred to me- is it possible to include texture mapping into an stl or obj file for printing?

So I could theoretically map a rough texture or a raised design onto a surface, save and slice the file, and have it print said texture onto the surface it was mapped to?

I’m a long-time FDM user adding a Photon S to my lineup. My first test print came out... wonky. One of the crossbars inside the cube barely even printed, it looks almost melted the other looks relatively fine
Does anyone have advice on what I need to adjust? This is just the pre-sliced test that came with the printer, so it shouldn’t be a slicer/setting issue.
